Amata Corporation has officially begun construction on the Song Khoai Industrial Park, a key component of its Amata City HaLong project in Quang Ninh province, northern Vietnam. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on December 21, 2018, marking Amata's first major industrial development in northern Vietnam.

This expansion signifies Amata's strategic move to capitalize on Vietnam's growing economy and industrialization, particularly in a region bordering China with significant infrastructure. The project aims to attract multinational firms, boost local economic development, and introduce a "Smart City" concept, enhancing Amata's regional footprint and portfolio.
