EGAT and partners KBank, Sansiri, INNOPOWER, and ION launched a platform for solar rooftop owners to register and trade Renewable Energy Certificates.
EGAT, KBank, Sansiri, INNOPOWER, and ION Energy partnered to enable solar rooftop owners, including Sansiri residents, retail customers, and SMEs, to register and sell Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) through the GreenPass platform.
This initiative aims to boost income for solar prosumers, expand Thailand's REC market to smaller producers, and accelerate the country's transition towards Net Zero emissions by facilitating broader participation in clean energy.
