Thailand, Laos, and Malaysia signed the Energy Wheeling Agreement (EWA) for the second phase of the Lao PDR-Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore Power Integration Project (LTMS-PIP 2.0). This agreement expands cross-border electricity trading capacity from 100 MW to 200 MW for two years, facilitating power transmission from Laos and Malaysia to Singapore via Thai and Malaysian grids.
