EGAT provided a portable solar cell and battery system to the Chanthaburi and Trat Border Defense Command in Chanthaburi province. The system is intended to support personnel performing security duties in strategic border areas.

This initiative addresses infrastructure limitations in remote border regions, reducing reliance on external energy sources and improving the self-sufficiency and readiness of operational bases.
