The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) deployed more than 200 personnel to urgently address a major incident in Bang Pu, Samut Prakan, where over 70 electricity poles collapsed after a container truck snagged communication cables. This incident caused widespread power outages and blocked traffic routes.
