The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) and its partners have completed the undergrounding of power and communication lines on Pracharat Sai 2 Road in Bangkok, followed by the removal of overhead poles. This initiative is part of a broader "Smart City" development plan.

This project significantly improves electricity system stability and public safety while enhancing the urban landscape. The reuse of old poles for national security along the Thai-Cambodian border also demonstrates a circular economy approach.
