The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) welcomed the Senate Energy Committee for a site visit to its Microgrid project on Koh Phaluai, Surat Thani, showcasing its solar, energy storage, and backup generation systems.

This initiative aims to enhance energy security and efficiency on the island using renewables, improve local quality of life, reduce electricity costs, and promote eco-tourism, establishing Koh Phaluai as Thailand's first "Green Island."
